Social events

We start with an opening ceremony on Tuesday 25.07. at 19:00 on the Überseebrücke 1, directly in front of the restaurant MARINA. Here is the Google Maps link https://goo.gl/maps/Vy9P4FXCXv3sy8D26 You can expect a little snacks and cool drinks.

On Wednesday 26.07. at 19:00 we invite you to a BBQ evening at the Beach Club 412.

On Friday 28.07. we will meet for the championship reception of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck on the Travemünde landmark "Passat".

The world championship will close on Saturday 29.07. with the prize giving ceremony at our regatta office in the "Sailor's Bar", which can be found on the festival map under no. 24.

All sailors of the J/22 World Championship are cordially invited to the social event. You can buy tickets for the social events for your companions at the regatta office at check-in. 

When you register at the regatta office, you will receive the invitation cards for the social events, on which you will also find this information.

…imagine, you awake from a horn, hear the seagulls that follow a fisher boat and the leaves sweep in the wind. After a short swim in the Baltic Sea and a breakfast with your sailing tribe you rig your J into ready-to-race-mode and relax under the sun. After 3 exhausting races in 14 kts breeze you drink a beer at the peer and you could not turn away your eyes from the amazing pictures of the day. Right next to you the German class president is trying to drew a perfect freezing cold German beer…
